CRP and rheumatoid arthritis: All the weekly measures of RA disease activity that were assessed by the rheumatologist (CDAI, SDAI, CRP, ESR, DAS28-CRP/-ESR) showed a similar (inversed U-shaped) temporal pattern: an increase during the first 12 days of the study (until 12-h interval number 24) and a decline after the change in medication (Figure 1).
