The IgE reactivityof the Osborne fractions was subsequently investigated using a serumpanel from patients with IgE-mediated wheat allergy to ensure theirclinical relevance, as has been done for the development of allergentest materials (Figures , S4, and S5).Most of the patients had experienced anaphylactic reactions, whilesome also suffered from acute urticaria and angioedema (Table S2).
