Prior angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor and aspirin use were more common among patients who developed myocarditis (50% vs. 17.5%, OR: 4.7, CI 1.3−16.9, p = 0.01; 55.5% vs. 15%, OR: 9.4, CI 2.21−29.67, p < 0.01). This evidence concerns the gene ACE and myocarditis.
