Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs) are a popular class of drugs that are FDA approved to treat Type 2 diabetes as well as obesity and cardiovascular disease prevention.1 Because more GLP-1 RAs come to market with decreased prices, simpler use, and at-home availability through telehealth providers, the percentage of GLP-1 RA–treated patients in aesthetic plastic surgical settings is likely to increase.
