AKT1 and cancer: We observed many well‐studied cancer development‐related key pathways, such as the MAPK signaling pathway,[16] PI3K‐Akt signaling pathway,[17] and JAK‐STAT signaling pathway.[18] Moreover, these pathways have also been proven to be associated with cancer treatment response and are used as therapeutic targets for some cancers in clinical settings.[19, 20, 21] The single sample gene set enrichment analysis (ssGSEA) algorithm was then applied to calculate the activities of the 38 pathways.
