HMGB2 and endometrial cancer: Firstly, using fluorescence microscopy-based phagocytosis assays, we demonstrated that HMGB2 knockdown in macrophages (RAW264.7 cells) led to a significant reduction in the phagocytic ability of these macrophages toward tumor cells from various cancer types, including breast cancer (MDA-MB-231), cervical cancer (HeLa), ovarian cancer (SKOV3), and endometrial cancer (Ishikawa).
