Current CLL treatments include targeted therapies against B cell receptor (BCR) signaling, such as Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitors ibrutinib (IBR) and acalabrutinib, and against antiapoptotic proteins, such as BCL2 which is antagonized by venetoclax (VCX) [1]. Here, BCL2 is linked to B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
