S100A1 and autoimmune disease: Integration of our scRNA-seq data with published scRNA-seq data derived from monocytes of patients with multisystem autoimmune inflammatory diseases [including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), microscopic polyangiitis (MPA), and Behcet’s disease (BD)]17–19 was performed to compare relative expression levels of HLA class II genes, sepsis-associated monocyte signature genes16, and genes related to S100A alarmins and inflammatory responses across different autoimmune diseases.
