Consistently, analysis of publicly available RNAseq data from control and AD patients showed altered expression of Adra1a(S-Fig. 7G, H) and Adra2a (S-Fig. 7I, J) in Braak stages V–VI compared to Braak stages 0–I in parahippocampal gyri, indicating a correlation with disease progression (RNAseq data obtained from the Mount Sinai Brain Bank [MSBB] study). This evidence concerns the gene ADRA1A and Alzheimer disease.
