PAX8 and malignant colon neoplasm: reported that high expression of PAX8‐AS1 is associated with poor prognosis and response to fluorouracil‐based chemotherapy in stage II colon cancer, suggesting its potential value in predicting chemotherapy efficacy in gastrointestinal tumors.[25] In a study by Lu et al., PAX8‐AS1 was significantly overexpressed in gemcitabine‐resistant cholangiocarcinoma cells but was not further investigated.[26] Here, we are the first to focus on the role of PAX8‐AS1 in chemotherapy resistance in ICC.
