The results of Cox analysis showed that after correction for confounders (Model 1: age, sex, treatment, current smoker, Model 2: Model 1 + SBP, DBP and urine microalbumin, Model 3: Model 2 + RASi, β-receptor antagonists, CCBs and other drugs), there was also no statistically significant difference between BPV and the risk of AKI in hypertensive patients.
