A significantly low adiponectin level (7.19 ± 2.02 μg/mL) was observed among the subjects suffering from MetS, whereas leptin (12.11 ± 1.71 ng/mL) and resistin (6.33 ± 0.83 ng/mL) levels were significantly (p < 0.05) high among the subjects with MetS.
