Among carriers of S. aureus with gastroenteritis, 28 strains did not carry enterotoxin genes, while 7 strains carried the sea gene, 4 strains carried the seb gene, 5 strains carried the sec gene, 1 strain carried both the sea and sec genes, and 1 strain carried both the sec and sed genes.
