The KEGG and GO analyses demonstrate that genes associated with obesity-related gut microbiota and metabolism SNPs are primarily enriched in signaling pathways such as the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) and protein kinase B (AKT) pathway, as well as in pathways related to metabolic processes like bile secretion and inositol phosphate metabolism. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
