Advances in biologic DMARDs (bDMARDs) have transformed Still's disease management (12, 61, 62), with IL-1 inhibitors (e.g., anakinra, canakinumab) and IL-6 inhibitors (e.g., tocilizumab) achieving rapid systemic control, and reducing corticosteroid dependence (11, 63–69). This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and systemic-onset juvenile idiopathic arthritis.
