In mouse liver cancer models, hypoxia in tumor tissue leaded to the accumulation of HIF-1α, which suppressed the activation of the cGAS-STING signaling pathway, thereby affecting the induction of IFN-I and NFκB signaling by the chemotherapeutic drug teniposide; hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy reduced the level of HIF-1α in tumor tissue, thereby alleviating the inhibitory effect of hypoxia on the cGAS-STING signaling pathway. Here, HIF1A is linked to liver cancer.
