Then we investigated their binding performance against the top-ranked Mpox-causing eight HKPs (B2M, CDH1, HSP90AA1, PTPRC, IGF1, PLAUR, PDGFRB, and ASS1), as well as T2D-causing nine HKPs (HSP90AA1, ASS1, HADHA, UBE3C, ACAT1, HSPA9, ALDH4A1, LRPPRC, and RDX) that were identified through PPI network analysis of their individual DEGs-sets (Fig. S1; Table S3). This evidence concerns the gene ALDH4A1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus.
