RT-qPCR results revealed that LIPT1 exhibited markedly higher mRNA expression levels in pancreatic cancer cell lines (e.g., Capan-1, CFPAC-1) and clinical tissues compared to normal pancreatic cells (HPDE6-C7) and normal pancreatic tissues, suggesting its potential pro-oncogenic activity in pancreatic cancer. The gene discussed is LIPT1; the disease is familial pancreatic carcinoma.
