32 To evaluate the anti-metastatic activity of the combination of CpG and iPSCs, MC38 CRC cells were injected into the spleens of C57BL/6J mice (Figure S4A). By day 21, liver tumor nodules were observed. While CpG alone had no effect on the number of liver tumor nodules, the C + I treatment significantly reduced the number of nodules in mice (Figure S4B-C). Histological examination of liver tissues further confirmed these findings (Figure S4D). Immunohistochemistry analysis revealed that C + I treatment induced cleaved caspase-3 expression in tumor nodules (Figure S4E). The gene discussed is CASP3; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
