Yang et al.20 found that neutrophils, NETs markers MPO, and CitH3 exist in primary tumors and liver metastatic tumors of patients with breast cancer, and proved that the DNA components of NETs in the liver interact with the transmembrane protein CCDC25, and DNA-CCC25 triggers a cascade of intracellular signaling. This evidence concerns the gene CCDC25 and breast carcinoma.
