TBLB offers a less invasive approach to SLB and is recommended when the typical clinical features (tuberous sclerosis complex, angiomyolipomas, chylous effusions, lymphangioleiomyomas, serum vascular endothelial growth factor-D (VEGF-D) ≥ 800 pg/mL) are absent and a histopathological confirmation is required [42].
