There were no significant differences between the groups with normoprolactinemia and hyperprolactinemia in regards of age and serum levels of any of the studied hormones [follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), LH, thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), AMH, testosterone, DHEAS, androstenedione and 17-OH progesterone]. The gene discussed is BRD2; the disease is hyperprolactinemia.
