The THUMP Domain 3 TRNA Guanosine Methyltransferase (THUMPD3)-AS1/miR-218-5p/(Src Kinase Associated Phosphoprotein 1) SKAP1 axis, reported by Pu et al., promotes CRC cell growth and aggressiveness via THUMPD3-AS1, acting as a competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) to sponge miR-218-5p and subsequently upregulate SKAP1 expression in CRC cells [47]. This evidence concerns the gene THUMPD3 and colorectal carcinoma.
