In another study of multiple biomarkers by Todorowa et al., plasma samples for biomarkers of inflammation, hypercoagulability, and endothelial dysfunction—including C-reactive protein (CRP), thrombomodulin (TM), thrombin-antithrombin complex (TAT), MPO, von Willebrand factor (vWF), and P-selectin—were examined.
