Stamatopoulos et al. compared miRNA-150 expression in the serum and CD19+ cells of CLL patients and found that a low cellular miR-150 expression level was associated with tumor burden, disease aggressiveness, and poor prognostic factors, whereas a high level of serum miR-150 was associated with tumor burden markers and some markers of poor prognosis. Here, CD19 is linked to neoplasm.
