TNF and Crohn disease: In IBD patients who did not develop cancer, UC patients received a higher proportion of 5-aminosalicylate (93% vs. 43%, p < 0.001), glucocorticosteroids (87% vs. 36%, p < 0.001), immunomodulators (57% vs. 13%, p < 0.001), and anti-TNFα antibodies (56% vs. 22%, p < 0.001) compared to Crohn’s disease (CD) patients.
