Several studies have shown that the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway is involved in hyperuricemia-induced nephropathy (Ren et al. 2021a; Ren et al. 2021b) and that inhibiting this pathway can improve hyperuricemia-induced renal injury (Mehmood et al. 2022) and fibrosis (Sun et al. 2023). Here, STAT3 is linked to hyperuricemia.
