The JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway is a key regulator of various cellular functions, including survival, proliferation, and differentiation (Qin et al. 2018), and its persistent activation has been implicated in the progression of several diseases, such as interstitial lung diseases (Montero et al. 2021) and osteoarthritis (Chen et al. 2023). Here, STAT3 is linked to interstitial lung disease.
