To utilize high-resolution vessel wall imaging (HR-VWI) to identify the characteristic features of culprit plaques in intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis (ICAS) vessels and evaluate the predictive value of serum nerve injury-induced protein 1 (NINJ1) and matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP9) for the vulnerability of intracranial atherosclerotic plaques. This evidence concerns the gene MMP9 and familial isolated congenital asplenia.
