IL-4 levels were noticeably elevated in the alopecia areata group, with an average of 2.195 ± 4.366 pg/mL and a median of 0.880 pg/mL, compared to 1.105 ± 0.766 pg/mL and a median of 0.790 pg/mL in the control group. This evidence concerns the gene IL4 and alopecia areata.
