CRP and Pleural effusion: During the period of hospitalization, a significant correlation wasobserved between mortality and several factors, including age (65 years orolder), an elevated CRP level of 12.05 mg/L or higher, an increased WBC count of12.16 × 109/L or higher, an aortic diameter measuring 48 mm orlarger, the presence of pleural effusion, and a DBP exceeding 105 mmHg.
