LRE11 CFS at 10% + vitamin D had the same outcome than the CFS alone significantly decreased IL-6 production upon infection (p < 0.01; Figure 5c), while the co-treatment with vitamin D and 5% LRE11 CFS showed an IL-6 reduction upon infection (p < 0.0001) and also compared to the CFS treatment alone (p < 0.05; Figure 5c). This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and infection.
