Mean plasma levels of angiogenic factors in breast cancer patients (n = 149) were as follows: ANG‐1: 4.9 ± 7.4 ng/mL (reference range: 0.6–6.0 ng/mL) [41], ANG‐2: 4.0 ± 5.5 pg/mL (reference range: 0.5–3.0 pg/mL) [41], Tie‐2: 1.7 ± 0.8 ng/mL (reference range:10.0–92.0 ng/mL) [41], and VEGF‐C: 0.1 ± 0.2 ng/mL (reference range: 0.04–7.75 ng/mL) [41].
