There is an urgent need for disease‐modifying therapies that can prevent the progression of refractory PD.[2] Recently, the repurposing of approved drugs has emerged as an attractive strategy to accelerate the development of new neuroprotective agents.[48, 49] In this context, we screened FDA‐approved drugs to identify compounds targeting FGF13 for their potential therapeutic effects in PD.
