In PD mouse models, we revealed that FGF13‐positive particles were localized within TH‐positive dopaminergic neurons, and FGF13 signals were significantly reduced in the midbrain of both 1‐methyl‐4‐phenyl‐1,2,3,6‐tetrahydropyridine (MPTP)‐treated and par‐α‐synuclein preformed fibrils (par‐PFF)‐treated mice (Figure 1F,H,J). The gene discussed is FGF13; the disease is Parkinson disease.
