CD44 and ovarian cancer: There were significantly more cases with high expression levels (>2) of CD44 and VDR in ovarian cancers with higher FIGO stages (III and IV) than in those with lower FIGO stages (I and II) (p < 0.001 and p < 0.001, respectively), while there was no difference in the distribution of the high-expression category of CD133 between ovarian cancers with lower and higher FIGO stages (p = 0.484).
