In patients with CKD, the urine concentrations of EVs produced by the renal parenchyma (podocalyxin+ glomerular EVs and aquaporin-1+ tubular EVs) and CD133+ EVs produced by renal progenitor cells were significantly higher in patients with CKD and an eGFR < 30 mL/min (Supplemental Table S3).
