Comparison of standard indices of diversity and richness (Shannon entropy [63]) and distribution (Gini index [64]) also showed no differences between the three groups (Supplementary Fig. 3H-K), confirming that while the PIMS-TS and COVID-19 groups both had a lower overall proportion of CD4 and CD8 T cells in blood PBMC, their TCRɑ and TCRβ repertoires had equivalent diversity and distribution to that of healthy children. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and COVID-19.
