There was 1 pathology-confirmed case of TSH-secreting macroadenoma diagnosed in an 18-year-old female patient who presented with an elevated free thyroxine level, normal TSH, and weight loss, and 1 pathology-confirmed case of GH-secreting microadenoma in a 14-year-old male patient who presented with tall stature and obesity. This evidence concerns the gene GH1 and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
