The levels of the corresponding proteins to the five upregulated DEGs (PYGL, TNF‐α, CYLD, FADD and TLR3) were significantly higher in the sepsis group than in the control group (p < 0.001 for all); additionally, the levels of corresponding proteins to the three downregulated DEGs (p53, FasL and NLRP6) were significantly lower in the sepsis group than in the control group (p < 0.001 for all) (Table 4).
