ALB and acute kidney injury: Conversely, higher serum albumin levels (HR 0.304, 95% CI 0.182–0.507, p < 0.0001), higher serum creatinine levels (HR 0.800, 95% CI 0.669–0.956, p = 0.0141), and a history of AKI (HR 0.550, 95% CI 0.327–0.924, p = 0.0241) were associated with a reduced risk of mortality.
