To assess the relative toxicity of cis and gauche P-tau conformers in human Alzheimer’s disease (AD) neurons, human-induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) were derived from five patients with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease (AD3) and five age-matched healthy control subjects, obtained from the Royan Cell Bank (Supplementary Figure S1b). This evidence concerns the gene MAPT and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
