Immunostaining with anti-cis, trans, and gauche P-tau antibodies revealed alterations in cis P-tau (1.597 ± 0.06 vs. 2.393 ± 0.21, n = 3, p = 0.0233) and trans P-tau (1.407 ± 0.209 vs. 1.293 ± 0.109, n = 3, p = 0.6572) levels in AD brains compared to controls (Figure 1a).
