The relative mRNA expression of CCND1, p15INK4b and RB was significantly lower in prostate tumor tissues compared to BPH tissues [CCND1: median log2(FC) value: -2.12, p = 1 × 10− 12; p15INK4b: median log2(FC) value: -0.85, p = 0.002; RB: median log2(FC) value: -1.28; p = 0.002]. Here, CCND1 is linked to benign prostatic hyperplasia.
