In the severe NAFLD group, elevated levels of age, BMI, alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), uric acid, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), Ln(CAR), and LSM were observed, while serum phosphorus, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), and total calcium were notably lower. This evidence concerns the gene GPT and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
