One of the top-ranked AD-hypoacetylated peaks when controlling for CHAS scores was annotated to multiple cell types, and located near POC1B, an AD risk gene that was reported to form part of the same core oligodendrocyte gene network as MVB12B.28 This peak was also differentially acetylated when controlling for cell type proportions (Table S1).
