Considering the clinical implications and future directions, the findings of this study emphasize the importance of regularly monitoring HBeAg status and liver enzyme levels in managing chronic hepatitis B. While gender and TLR3 SNP 1337 CT genotypes do not significantly influence disease activity or symptom presentation, the strong association between HBeAg positivity and chronic active disease highlights its value as a key marker in clinical practice. This evidence concerns the gene TLR3 and chronic hepatitis B virus infection.
