Interestingly, the comparison between six-month progression-free survival (PFS6) status good and poor (recurred within 6 months after surgery) GBM patients revealed that PKD1 is among five other genes (TRIML2, ROCK1, OBSCN, HECTD4, and ADCY7) that are significantly mutated in the poor prognosis group of GBMs providing PKD1 as a potential marker for GBM outcome [34]. This evidence concerns the gene OBSCN and glioblastoma.
