Some quinobenzothiazines exerted suppressive effects in in vivo models of delayed-type hypersensitivity to ovalbumin and skin reaction to carrageenan, contact sensitivity to oxazolone, and psoriasis in mice; they showed inhibitory effects of IFNβ expression and downstream IFNβ-dependent genes and proteins involved in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases [27,28,29,30,31].
