Comparing Oral Lichen Planus and Oral Leukoplakia, CD163 cell density (mean 514 cells/mm2 vs. 50 cells/mm2, p=0.029) and CD163/CD68 expression ratio (2.26 vs. 0.51, p=0.029) were significantly higher in Lichen lesions (Table 1, Figure 4). The gene discussed is CD163; the disease is Oral leukoplakia.
