SOX10 and schwannoma: They consist of 2 different morphological features, shown as Antoni A and Antoni B areas in different ratios.[8] S-100 protein, a specific marker, is prevalent in Antoni A areas and is used to confirm the diagnosis of schwannoma and benign nerve sheath tumors.[8,9,10] In the present case, strong positive signals for S-100 and SOX10 were observed in the immunohistochemical staining.
