CRP and Inguinal hernia: Based on previous studies, the article reviewed the medical records of 42 patients and confirmed that preoperative serum levels of IL-6, CRP, and MMP-9 affected the prognosis of patients with inguinal hernia and were positively correlated with postoperative wound infection, but negatively correlated with postoperative pain, wound healing, length of stay, and time to return to normal activities.
