Studies have shown that the NF-κB pathway can promote tumor resistance to apoptosis, which is a significant factor in developing chemoresistance in various cancers, including EOC [17,18], aligning with our findings that GFPT2 overexpression is associated with paclitaxel resistance in EOC cells through the activation of the NF-κB pathway. The gene discussed is GFPT2; the disease is cancer.
